A Review by Paul Collier on Greg Mills's Recent Book entitled Why Africa is Poor: and What Africans Can do About it
Those who have had a good luck to read the book will not be surprised by Greg Mills's daring of conception, the range of erudition ,as well as a mix of discrete and large picture analysis on the causes of Africa's underdevelopment. The currentanalyst believes the book is timely and must be read by all those concerned with the current debate on the economic development(or underdevelopment) of African countries. I must say that the book is profoundly suggestive and illuminating work and it represents a contemporary mind with originality and a vision that seems indispensable.
